Big forms. Open lines.
Structure frames the movement. Heavy ribs, side galleries and distant machinery give scale without filling the route.

THE MUNICIPAL WATERWORKS
Monumental infrastructure, a quiet atmosphere, and surfaces you can read at speed. A first material and lighting language for the whole map.
Route names are identifiers. They do not dictate the palette, theme or props.
01 / THE MOOD
Click either board to inspect it full size ↗Concrete mass. Cool daylight. A little warmth in the distance.
Structure frames the movement. Heavy ribs, side galleries and distant machinery give scale without filling the route.
Reflective riding surfaces, matte standing platforms, smooth sealed boundary walls. The visual finish follows each surface’s role.
Soft grey daylight carries the space. Sparse amber work lights create depth. Haze stays above the player’s line.
Six finishes, one coherent family.
Generated concept artwork for mood and finish. These images do not reproduce Khaki Curve’s exact geometry. The later 3D pass will use the supplied collision and recorded paths.
02 / COLOUR & FINISH
Grey and graphite form the base. Pale blue comes from glass edges and daylight; amber is a small lighting accent. Change a chip to sketch a palette revision.
Chip changes are saved with your notes. The generated images stay as the original reference.
| Material / role | Proposed appearance | Application |
|---|---|---|
| 01 / Boundary wall | Satin sealed concrete; continuous, flush joints | Walls retain their existing movement restrictions. “Icy” is a physics tag; a frozen appearance is optional. |
| 02 / Riding surface | Smoky glazed mineral; broad reflections, fine directional wear | Candidate look for opaque slick floors and ramps. Keep the riding profile smooth. |
| 03 / Standing surface | Dry matte concrete or a grip finish | Only where the source geometry provides normal traction. A raised platform is not automatically grippy. |
| 04 / Transparent surface | Clear structural glass; subtle blue-green edge | Preserve see-through flags and the original collision. Keep steel support beneath or outside the playable space. |
| 05 / Service metal | Galvanized grating, dark steel, restrained wear | Side galleries and remote machinery. No bolts, pipes or railings intruding into traversal. |
| 06 / Lighting | Diffuse cold slots; small sodium amber fixtures | Fixtures sit outside the movement envelope. No glare or dense fog across landing points. |
03 / THE FIRST ROUTE
The supplied recordings are actual player trajectories. Preserve the sweeping lines, obstacle sequence, shortcuts and air space when dressing this route.
THE SOURCE TAKES PRIORITY
The JSON shows a long channel with an obstacle sequence. Its eight patches are small translucent light surfaces, rather than evidence of the large vortex imagined in the earlier brief.
Keep the existing collision, slick flags, transparency, triggers and camera framing. Recorded lines guide clearance; later modeling must also allow the full player volume and unrecorded valid movement.

05 / THE SOURCE GALLERY
2 Markdown briefs, 69 JSON files and 1,012 source images across 23 routes. Browse every original view; geometry colours are diagnostic and are not an art palette.
Both supplied Markdown files were read in full. Every JSON file was loaded and parsed, including all geometry, mesh, camera, entity and player sample data. All 1,012 JPEGs were decoded, and their views reviewed in route contact sheets.
Your latest instructions supersede the brief’s name-based zone colours and literal ice-wall proposal. “Icy” retains the source movement restrictions; it does not prescribe an ice material. The existing documents remain unchanged.
The earlier brief’s route statistics and scene interpretations are proposals, not substitutes for the exported data. This board uses measured Khaki Curve data; its generated art is an atmospheric reference, not a reconstruction.

THE CAMERA STUDIES / ALL 23 ROUTES
Every original camera, reimagined with the approved waterworks palette. Each view opens on the redesign. Drag across the image to blend in the original greybox, or choose Wipe to compare their edges.
Each image uses its own original greybox as the composition reference, with the approved waterworks materials and lighting. Image generation can introduce local edge drift; the blend mode makes this visible. Player paths, geometry, transparency and movement rules remain the source of truth for the later 3D model.
